The Wagtails and Swallow's Nest are tastefully renovated semi-detached cottages set in open countryside near the village of Prince's Gate, Narberth, Pembrokeshire. Both cottages have achieved the Welsh Tourist Board 4* grading.

They are the perfect getaway retreats for those peaceful weekend breaks where you can unwind from the pressures of modern day life. In the summer, the ideal holiday venue for the family holidays and in other seasons, it's the ideal last minute short break venue for total peace and quiet.

Swallows Nest and Wagtails cottages are both rated 4-star by the Welsh Tourist Board
Set in the countryside 4 miles from the coast at Amroth and within 8 miles of Tenby and Saundersfoot, these single storey cottages are attractively restored barns, enjoying rural views.

Nearby, Narberth offers a selection of individual shops, pubs and events during the year. It is well worth putting aside a morning or afternoon to browse around Narberth.
  The cottages are a perfect base for exploring the miles of unspoilt coastline, quiet beaches, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, historic sights and local attractions or even taking a day-trip to Ireland!

They are situated near the Landsker Borderlands Trail, a long-distance footpath, with riverside and woodland paths, which is an ideal spot for walkers. The Preseli Hills are also nearby.

Our guests are welcome to ¾ mile of prime salmon and sea trout fishing on the Eastern Cleddau. Just let us know and we will make the arrangements for you.

There is also coarse fishing and a trout-pond close by.
  Pembrokeshire lies on the South-West corner of Wales with beautiful beaches, rolling countryside, river valleys and the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

There is always something to enjoy and delight you - fascinating wildlife, historic sites, gardens, woollen mills, local crafts people and many family attractions.
